Literacy
- Rereading to learn more about characters in books
- Writing realistic fiction series
- Specific word work
Math
- Adding and subtracting within 100
- Collecting data and graphing results
- Addition fluency
Science
- Planning and conducting investigations to show that vibrating materials can make sound and sound can make materials vibrate
- Using tools and materials to design and build a device that uses light or sound to solve the problem of communicating over a distance
- Making observations to construct an evidence-based account that objects in darkness can be seen only when illuminated
Home Connection
- Read for 20 minutes each night and record in the Reading Log
- Reread to learn more about characters
- Practice reading with fluency
- Practice your math flash cards
